Minrui Yang is a Piano teacher based in Auckland, New Zealand. She has over 10 years of experience teaching students of various ages and abilities. 

She created Swan Piano Studio, inspired by their elegance, grace and beauty, which mirrors desired traits in the art of playing piano.

Minrui Started her piano journey when she was 5 years old, and began taking lessons with WenLi Ma (MMus). Since then she has won numerous awards, participating in competitions such as the North Shore Performing Arts Society (NSPAS), South Auckland Performing Arts Competition (SAPACS), and West Auckland Performing Arts Competitions (WAPAC), winning duo cup in 2010. Minrui has taught at multiple primary schools, and music schools across the Auckland region, and her studio is based in the heart of Glendene. She was also appointed music director at Somervell Presbyterian Church in Remuera in 2021.

After completing university, she became a teacher at L'accademia, and have been mentored by Italian pianist Flavio Villani, attending workshops run by Ray De Lisle and Stephen de Pledge, which greatly helped inform her teaching methods. She is driven by a lifelong dedication of learning and is always honing her skills and developing better approaches in teaching, to ensure her students are equipped with the best tools possible to enjoy a lifelong journey with their piano.
